Valerie Peterson has 22 years of experience in P&C Insurance with the majority of her time on the carrier side leading personal and commercial property claim operations. Most recently she was vice president of claims at a small carrier, overseeing all lines of claims spanning 46 states and overseeing subrogation, compliance, and litigated claims handling.

“Claims might not be where you go to become rich or famous, but there is a nobility to what we do.  We get to help people when bad things happen!”

Jason Caravella has 20 years of experience in claims management with personal and commercial lines carriers. He has held leadership positions at multiple insurance organizations and has spent the last decade establishing new claims operations and rehabilitating existing ones, delivering first-in-class results by establishing systems, processes, and analytics focused on service and efficiency.

“To a customer, claim service is the product they are buying when they purchase insurance.  I strive to deliver the best product possible to the customer efficiently and timely using best-in-class technology.”

Ben Paz brings 15 years of technical commercial/homeowners claim experience to Xceedance. He has relevant functional knowledge in building new property claim units, catastrophe teams, and recently a Virtual Desk Adjusting Property Division. Ben has worked all positions within the homeowners field, starting as a Field Adjuster and quickly advancing to CAT Adjuster.

“One of my goals is to share my experiences with all that I work with to help develop the passion for excellence this industry needs as it relates to a needed differentiator amongst all competitors”

 

Alonza Coleman started his insurance career as a property claims adjuster in 2006, handling residential and personal property losses. He brings significant auto property, liability, catastrophe, watercraft, commercial, and farm/ranch claims experience to Xceedance. He holds multiple industry designations, including AIC, AINS, AIS, and is currently pursuing the CPCU designation.

“My mission is to deliver on the promise of the customer’s policy and to ensure that every interaction is a positive one”.

Courtney Ford has more than 6 years technical homeowners and auto claim experience. Prior to joining Xceedance she held multiple roles where she processed claims through virtual inspections, managed catastrophe teams, streamlined claims handling processes, and handled claim escalations. Courtney’s focus is creating a smooth claims process for customers.

“Treating policyholders with an empathetic lens is paramount to delivering on our best-in-class customer service mission”.
