What you’ll be doing

  • Analyze and perform functional feasibility study on various Insurance business processes and analyze their automation potential.
  • Validate existing and/or new automation initiatives for reusability concept, reconfiguration etc. Lead a team of BAs in co-ordination with Technical Architecture team to assess Capability of internal tools and products – if they can cater to the current requirements and if not, how much it needs to be configured for the same.
  • Validate based on market requirements and acceptability, the automation initiatives in insurance processes. Co-ordinate the analysis on what is available in the market along with features and capabilities and compare to what we can create/deliver wrt schedule, cost and viability.
  • Write reports, document and present analysis, project status, risks and issues.
  • Co-ordinate and lead the capture and preparation of requirements and functional assessment reports.
  • Identify tasks and interrelationships to evaluate functional and cross-functional requirements.
  • Research on existing systems and procedures and make changes and improvise wherever necessary.
  • Recommend solutions to identified problems.
  • Assist and Ensure delivery of projects on time and within the budget.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience of IT project management and/or Insurance operations/process management with 10 – 12 years of experience in Insurance domain preferably P&C.
  • Knowledge of Insurance domain and processes with IT project delivery frameworks.
  • Previous involvement in automation programs and assessment.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of complex information and requirements.
  • Good prioritization skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans.
  • Great IT skills combined with a good head for business.
