Position: Associate Director

About the role:

Business Process Automation/Optimization is a key requirement of the Insurance service industry. Driving efficiencies though automation and reducing cost of operations is a key deliverable to any organization in today’s world. This role would require the individual to understand/analyze all the business processes and provide inputs to improve various aspects like productivity, accuracy or TAT through automating them or re-engineering the process itself on an ongoing and continuous manner. The ideal person should have extensive experience in conceptualizing and delivering technological solutions to bring substantial improvements business process efficiency through automation to global client base with a strong preference in insurance industry.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsibility to guide, lead and expand a team of experts engaged in business process automations
  • Formulate automation strategies to bring maximum efficiencies by choosing and implementing the right technology-based solutions including robotic process automation
  • Handle automation projects for multiple clients across the globe
  • Lead setup of offshore delivery practice for Insurance industry platforms
  • Lead the robotics process automation practice setup with development of proprietary tools for robotic automation tools and solutions for business, and driving partnership with industry robotics software providers for capability enhancement and joint go-to-market
  • Continuous communication with clients and engages them with best offerings throughout
  • Constantly optimize the productivity of the team through reviews of the processes and adding relevant enhancements in the process
  • Assist the business development teams from a technical point of view to explore new clients or new projects with existing clients
  • Define, design and implement process improvements by identifying opportunities to provide benefits to the client organization
  • Work closely with the operations and process improvement to identify opportunities for improving processes
  • Keep replicability, while developing automation solutions
  • To identify the people, process, and technology capabilities required to deliver desired solution, and then plan for the implementation of those experiences
  • Develop a scalable framework for addressing the workflow aspects associated with hands offs across different teams
  • Own process simplification to eliminate queuing or idle time by removing human interventions and build capability for checking, queuing, reconciliation etc. – Owns the concept, the requirements, solutioning, design to delivery
  • Awareness of legal compliance aspects of automations and usage of third-party components

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Professional Degree in Engineering/Science with good academic track record
  • 15+ years of overall experience in designing and delivering technology solutions
  • 3+ years of experience at a lead/head level managing a team engaged in technology-based business process automations
  • Exposure to Insurance Industry will be a strong plus
  • Direct hands on experience in implementation of automation solutions is required
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
